Wow we definitely found a hidden gem. Jane was very welcoming and helpful. Oh Deer was spotlessly clean, lots of nice little touches and toiletries. Great shower, nice and powerful. Comfy bed and warm. Outdoor space also well kept and clean and very private. Hot tub was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely return and recommend. Well done Jane we can see that you take time and attention to detail for your guests. Absolutely outstanding.

What can we say, we absolutely loved everything about the Pod, starting with the comprehensive brief on our arrival. Jane left nothing out, explaining everything and making us feel very welcome. The pod is immaculate, furnished and cleaned to a very high standard. The area is lovely, so quiet but plenty of places to visit nearby. The nosiness of the deer was just the icing on the cake. What an excellent short break at Yes Deer. The comprehensive welcome brief was excellent. Yes Deer is a lovely, modern pod full of everything you need and much more. The little personal touches made it such a perfect little place. Very clean and comfortable made for a great relaxation. The attention to detail from Jane and Phil is amazing. This has to be the best glamping experience we have had. Definitely Five Star Glamping. We look forward to returning again in the future and highly recommend Ashbourne Holidays. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely loved our 4 night stay at Oh Deer, a beautiful, well equipped, warm, comfortable glamping pod with a fab walk in shower and a hot tub too. Jane met us on arrival and was so helpful. The on-site deer are inquisitive and came to say hello, a real bonus. Our first time glamping, think we may have stumbled on a gem. Pub just up the road (maybe 3 min walk, no more) with friendly vibe and great food. Lots of unexpected little extras that defo made this WOW!

A perfect and comfortable place to stay! We cannot praise this place enough - from the moment we arrived, Jane welcomed us, explained everything we might need to know for our stay, offered lovely recommendations, and was happy to help! We were just a short drive away from some beautiful walking locations, experiences and restaurants (especially The Crown Inn, a 2 minute walk up the road). Knowing we were returning to a safe and cosy pod with a relaxing and easy to use wood fired hot tub was brilliant. Everything we needed for a 7 night stay was included. We had such a lovely stay, were very sad to be leaving, and will absolutely return in the future! Thank you Jane and Phil!

We had an unforgettable stay at Oh Deer glamping pod that was the perfect honeymoon getaway. From the moment we arrived, our host Jane was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering great local recommendations. The pod itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the relaxing hot tub, which was a fantastic way to unwind while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The area around the pod was tranquil, providing a perfect escape and it was magical watching the deer frolick in the distance. Despite the serene setting, we found plenty of exciting places to explore just a short drive away. Whether it was scenic trails or charming local spots, there was no shortage of things to do. To top it off, the personalized touches for our honeymoon were truly special. A welcome with thoughtful goodies, prosecco, Mr & Mrs/congratulations decor and a heartfelt card made our stay even more memorable. Overall, this glamping pod was an ideal choice for our honeymoon, and we can’t wait to return!

Our stay at Yes Deer Pod was absolutely incredible thanks to our amazing host, Jane. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The pod itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we could ask for. Her hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. She also provided us with great recommendations for local attractions. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her guests really set the Pods apart from any other accommodation we have stayed in. We cannot recommend Yes Deer Pod and Jane enough. If you're looking for a peaceful and charming getaway with exceptional hospitality, this is the place to be. Me and my Fiancé have came home feeling lighter and stress free. We had an excellent stay at Oh Deer. Jane the owner had wonderful hospitality and attention to detail, she meets you on arrival and talks you through everything which is lovely. Proseco, coffee/tea/hot choc and milk and biscuits were all provided which was a delightful addition to the pod. Oh deer itself was roomy, well equipped, incredibly clean and the bed and shower were superb. We really appreciated all the decoration and attention to detail that had gone in to decorating Oh Deer and it really elevated our stay to make it more enjoyable. The log fire hot tub was lovely and relaxing and Jane was an amazing host and helped us out a lot and nothing was too much trouble. Overall I would highly recommend Oh Deer it’s a wonderful place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back, we couldn’t fault anything it was perfect. It’s also a superb location with local pubs and farm shops near by and lots of good pubs and service are not too far of a drive or a walk down the road!

We booked the yes deer lodge for our mini moon as we got married the day before. Just the pictures alone wow’d us so seeing the pod in real life well and truely knocked us off our feet. Jane the owner met us to talk us through everything which was so helpful and she even added touches such as petals and wooden hearts around the room. There is a folder with everthing in from resteraunts to walk and all the appliances and how they work. The pod itself was so clean and all the little details honestly were breathtaking we could not believe our luck! The wood fired hot tub was absolutely amazing we haven’t seen one before and we loved setting it up every night and looking at the stars! Just a short 4 minute walk away was the village pub and not even a 15 minute drive was Ashbourne centre. We can’t wait to re book next year for our 1 year anniversary.

Perfect, relaxing stay. Me and my husband booked Oh Deer as a mini-moon for the first few days after our wedding. Everything about our stay was perfect. The pod was spotless and so well equipped. The owner Jane came to greet us which was a really nice touch, along with the bottle of Prosecco left for us! Jane has thought of everything, you can tell a lot of time and attention has been put into the creation of these pods. The area is so peaceful, waking up to the deer every morning was so lovely. The village pub is a short walk down the road and is so welcoming, serving really delicious pub grub. We also visited the Shed, again a short walk down the road for our morning eggs and sausages. We can't recommend this place enough!

We had a wonderful four-night stay at 'No Deer'! The pod was immaculate, cosy, and just perfect. The peaceful countryside setting was lovely. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub in the evenings and spotting the deer. Jane was so friendly and always ready to help. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Yes Deer is absolutely perfection! The pods are furnished to the highest standard and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Every detail has been considered and provided with thoughtful extras of Prosecco and chocolates awaiting guests on arrival. Faultless attention to detail has been given with regards to cleanliness. Our host, Jane, was so friendly, attentive and considerate and only too happy to share her local knowledge and recommendations of places to visit. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day spent exploring and afforded complete privacy. We had a fantastic stay and will certainly be returning. We can’t thank the hosts enough for their hospitality, they went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Can’t wait to return.

Absolutely love Ashbourne holidays,the pod was absolutely amazing,it had everything I needed and more , friendly owners specially Jane ,she went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect,I definitely will be staying here again in the near future and highly recommend it to my friends.

We had the most magical stay at No Deer. Jane was a wonderful host, when we arrived she greeted us to run through everything and communication was great from start to finish. We had a lovely surprise when entering the pod, a bottle of bubbly and some chocolates - they didn’t last too long! The pods are immaculate, cosy and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was just what was needed after a long day hiking, true bliss getting lost in natures sounds, we felt like we were the only people in the Peak District at times. Perfect location to travel around the peaks and only a 5 minute walk to the local pub. If you want to escape and soak up the countryside this is the place to do it.

We had a lovely New Years stay at Oh Deer! Jane was an amazing host and made us feel very welcome when we arrived, the pod was spotless, cosy and the small touches by Jane made our stay even better. There’s a local pub just a few minutes walk away and a nice farm shop we visited a couple of times. We would recommend Oh Deer to anyone who wants a relaxing trip in the countryside.

We have had the most AMAZING few days at Oh Deer for our anniversary. Everything was perfect, from the amazing hot tub, to the spotlessly clean pod, to the wonderful Jane. She is extremely friendly, helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is great. I honestly could not recommend this place enough- it is in the most amazing, peaceful location and I would not hesitate to return again - we have already discussed returning next year!!

Oh Deer was incredible. Absolutely immaculate. As we arrived we were welcomed by the lovely Jane. As we were coming to oh dear for our mini moon, I’d brought some of my wedding flowers with me. Jane went out of her way to go get me a vase to display them in the pod. The pod is designed so well and meets all of your needs. If you were self catering there would be no reason to actually have to leave the pod. There were really lovely touches such as, the welcome book with ideas of what to do during your stay, books which we used one of to go on a trail.. it was so fun! A box with games in so we had lil card night with pizza, there was a Prosecco on arrival and choc buttons which were delicious. The hot tub was really easy to follow and use, this was also cleaned on our second day and refilled for us. The view is great and the surroundings are so quiet and with the view of the deers it was just bliss. We spent 4 nights in the pod and we definitely wanted to stay longer and there was plenty more for us to go and do, we have already said we will definitely stay there again!

Everything was perfect. From the views, to every little detail in the lodge. Couldn’t of asked for anything better. Will 100% be returning and recommending NO DEER, to others. Local pub was lush too. Jane was very welcoming and helpful. One of the best hosts, we have ever met. We loved seeing the deers nearby too. Massive Thank You!

Oh my goodness!! We absolutely love this stunning pod. Everything we could have hoped for on a child free weekend! The hot tub a welcomed addition, And a great put just within walking distance. We will definitely be back. Cannot wait!! Sue and Jay

We had such a lovely stay here. Hosts were really helpful. Accommodation was as described, everything you needed for a short break, all perfect. Chocolate and Prosecco was a lovely gesture, as well as the cleaning pack and toiletries. The setting was also very peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at No Deer - everything we could ask for plus more! Clean, well equipped property in a peaceful location with our deer neighbours. We had an amazing stay at Oh Deer! Everything was to a super high standard, really clean and had everything we wanted. The hot tub was lovely - although it took approx. 2 hours to heat up as it was a wood burning one, this was no problem for us, and it was easy to use! Jane the owner was lovely, came to greet us at the start and made us feel very welcome. We have already recommended to a few friends to come with their partners.

Our first stay at No Deer, but it certainly won’t be the last! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The host came down to the pod shortly after we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. She also told us that a new baby deer had been born that day, so we were thrilled when we managed to catch sight of it on our last day! The welcome pack was full of useful information and answered any possible question we had. We lit the hot tub shortly after arriving and this was ready for a relaxing dip before bed. All of the little extras (bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer) were brilliant too, as this saved us taking our own. Would happily recommend this place to anybody, the only bad part of the holiday was when we had to leave! perfect perfect perfect!!

Stayed here for 5 nights and could not be more pleased with my stay! The size of the pod was perfect for 2 people and the hot tub was lovely. Jane is absolutely wonderful and was always on hand to help when needed. Definitely would recommend this without a shadow of a doubt!

What an amazing place! The pods are perfect with all conveniences and needs anticipated: kitchenette, tv, Wi-Fi, shower +WC, bed, linen + towels and a hot tub to boot. The hosts are very attentive and checked in to make sure we were feeling looked after. The site is very peaceful and scenic with the deer watching from their nearby enclosure. Perfect place from which to explore nearby Buxton, Bakewell, Dovedale and Cromford. Thank you!

Really lovely place, pods had everything we needed. Enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast at the Crown Inn. The added extras were really appreciated.

"Perfect Perfect Perfect." Jane and Phil our hosts from OH Deer and NO DEER , could not do enough for us they were very welcoming and warm friendly people. The accommodation was first class myself and wife stayed in OH Deer the accommodation was by far first class the pod was beautifully laid out spacious warm and sparkling clean. The bathroom and shower were brilliant the amenities were also first class. The hot tub was perfect and so easy to operate the ambience of the scenery was beautiful peaceful and serene. The herd of deers were beautiful as was the fawn and they were not shy. The local pub The Crown Inn was perfect. Myself and my wife had a beautiful peaceful 4 chilled out days money very well spent. We thoroughly recommend this for any would be holiday chill out brilliant. Thanks Jane and Phil keep up the great work John and Debbie

Absolutely superb, the perfect little retreat.

This is an absolutely beautiful place-everything was perfect and quality of everything and attention to detail is second to none. The pod has everything you need with comfy bed and high quality shower. We loved the outside area and hot tub was fab! Once heated the water retained its heat until the next day! The hosts are lovely people and came down to check we were ok and settled in ok. If there is anything you need they would be quickly on hand to help. They even left complimentary Cava and chocolate to welcome us! The Deer on sight also came to say hello and were lovely to see. The local pub which is about a max 5 minute walk was an added bonus with beautiful food ( amazing Sunday lunch) and lovely, friendly staff! We will certainly be back soon. Thank you Claire and Gary

Absolutely loved our 3 night stay at No Deer. From the second we arrived we knew we were going to enjoy it. The pod itself is immaculate and finished to a very high standard. Great kitchen facilities, very comfy bed and the bathroom fittings are all superb. The hot tub was amazing and was used for many hours and being able to sit out for tea with the deer watching was special. The host Jane was very attentive and the chocolates and fizz left on arrival added to that. There is a pub 5 mins walk away. We went for a walk to Rocster where there was a lovely farm shop and Ashbourne and Carsington Water is a short drive away for town shops and water sports. This place is a must stay if your in the peak District

My partner and I learned we were the first guests at the new Yes Deer pod and it was an absolute pleasure! The placement of the pods next to the deer was fantastic in addition to the wonderful farm and wildlife in the village. The pod itself was very modern and cosy and a very luxurious snug hot tub perfect for a romantic couple. The welcome guide that the hosts had prepared was very very useful including some amazing photography from our host Jane herself! Another aspect we absolutely cannot fault was the kindness and hospitality from Jane herself, very helpful and welcoming which was a lovely extra touch plus the bubbly and the chocolate!
